Pension Ringojam

 

Ben and I absolutely loved Pension Ringojam. Osamu & Eiko Otaka were wonderful hosts and Pension Ringojam had a very homely feel. We plan to go back as soon as we can and if possible we will stay at Pension Ringojam again. Highlights were a traditional Nabe dinner and spending time practising our Japanese with the other guests. Madarao Ski Resort was definitely one of our favourites - probably up with Cortina (or better), but we were a little early for the best snow. Osamu recommended mid Jan-mid Feb. It was still a great mountain and the midnight skiing on New Year's Eve was pretty special. Really good challenging runs and great tree skiing opportunities.
