We enjoyed our stay at Pension Locomotion. The owner was very helpful. The rooms were not very big but the biggest problem was the mattresses on the beds. We didn't find them very comfortable. Otherwise good value for the money.

The owner is very nice and friendly. The overall facility is reasonably with its price. However, I got the basement room and it was extremely freezing when compared to the upstairs (breakfast area & common room). It seems that the heater in my room was not sufficient for its condition and size.

My boyfriend and i visited Pension Locomotion on 1/15 this year. I enjoyed the stay there. especially love the room and cozy bed.

The Locomotion was once again a lovely place to stay, it had avery comfortable room & the location was wonderful as it was in a quieter part of Hirafu. With only a small walk to convenience stores and restaurants you felt like you were amongst it all but had piece and quite when you wanted. The Locomotion has a good board room downstairs and plenty of space in the rooms to hang up gear if you wanted. The owner was really friendly and cooks up a great breakfast to get you ready for the day ahead! The walk to the chairlifts only took 10 easy minutes and you could catch a bus 1 min away from the pension if you were felling lazy. It definitely felt like a home away from home so we wouldn't hesitate in staying there again! Thank you so much for the help again with accommodation and we both look forward to using JSA again in the future:)
