Madarao Fujio Pension. My trip to Japan was great. Madarao ski resort was great. You can also ski the adjoining resort of Tangram circus for an additional 1500 yen. Pension Fujio was really nice and I enjoyed the meals that Kimmi made.Very reasonable for 2000 yen per meal. Normally around 5 –6 courses. Very clean rooms and a really nice inside Japanese bath in the basement level. One thing that I think you should advise people is to book the first nights meal in advance. Its very annoying when you have travelled all day and they tell you you cant have dinner because you need to book the night before. There are no laundry services which would be good. Had to wash my clothes in the sink in the room. They should buy a washer & dryer. We had a warm spell before I got to Madarao and was lucky that it turned back to winter and we received heaps of new snow. Your service was very good and you answered all of my questions in all of my emails. Thanks for your help. If you have any good specials for next season please let me know.

Our stay at Fujio Pension at Madarao Kogen was fantastic! Takeshi and his wife are wonderful hosts and their Pension is very warm, homely and welcoming. The meals and breakfasts were five out of five stars! Accommodation very comfortable and we felt right at home. Takeshi has a great knowledge on the area and his lifts and pick ups to the slopes everyday was wonderful- saved our sore powder legs! The mountain is great! Excellent snow, great tree skiing, good variety of terrain and nice little restaurants for lunch. Would love to re visit for more exploring! Thank you Fujio Pension and Japan snow Accommodation (Hisae) for a seamless and wonderful experience. If you are interested Hisae, I have a snow brand called Forcaster! we missed the connnecting bus due to an acccident on the railway. However we rang ahead and Kitamura san met us at the bus. The service was exceptional, the food was fantastic, we were taken to the ski resort promptly each day and picked up promptly at our convenience. Our stay was memorable and we would recommend this to others. Thankyou
