AOMORI SPRING RESORT

Aomori Spring Resort is located in Aomori prefecture, which in the most northern prefecture on the main island of Honshu. It is 921 metre high offering stunning views of the Tsugaru Plain and the Sea of Japan. With world-class dry powder snow conditions, wide groomed trails which extend over 3.5km in length and drop 545 vertical metres, and a number of steep off-piste pitches, there is plenty of terrain to keep your whole family satisfied. 

For freestyle skiers and boarders, facilities include an Olympic-sized 22 foot halfpipe, the largest in Japan, and a terrain park. Its no coincidence Aomori Spring Resort is the training ground for Olympic gold medalist Ayumu Hirano. You can even enjoy a bowel of ramen while watching the skiers and snowboarders challenege themselves in the halfpipe.

Backcountry skiers will fall in love with the almost endless supply of pristine powder snow that Aomori has to offer.
