GUJO, DYNALAND, TAKASU, MEIHO
Gujo is located in Gifu prefecture.
Gujo has ten snow resorts. The most well known & largest resorts are Dynaland & Takasu Snow Park which are
two inter-connected resorts.Washigatake and Meiho are also popular resorts which we included in our itinerary
as suggestions to go skiing & snowboarding.
The castle town
GUJO
With Gujo Hachiman Castle in the centre, there are many sightseeing spots in Gujo, such as the old townscape
of Castle Town, waterways all over the city, famous water Sogisui, Gujo Hachiman Museum, and Former Hachiman
Government Building Memorial Hall. Please enjoy a walk while listening to the sound of the water flowing through
the town.
You may have seen food replicas that are made of wax or plastic in many restaurants in Japan displayed to
entice and inform patrons. These replicas are said to have originated in Gujo City, and 60% of those sold in
Japan are still made here. You can try your hand at making your own.
Day 1
Travel from Nagoya to Dynaland & Ski
Travel by express bus from Meitetsu Bus Centre in Nagoya station to Hirugano Service area where the resort
free shuttle is connected to Dynaland. Have lunch at Dynaland and ski or snowboard in the afternoon and stay
at Hotel Villa Montsaint.
Day 2
SKI & SNOWBOARD
You can ski all day in Dynaland/Takasu Snow Park or you have an option to travel to Washigatake Ski Area
by free shuttle.
Day 3
Snow then visit Gujo Hachiman town
Ski or snowboard in Dynaland/Takasu Snow Park after checking out and store luggage. After skiing/snowboarding,
you travel to Gujo Hachiman castle town by pre-arranged taxi which would take about 50 minutes to Gujo Hachiman.
Your taxi will stop at one of the road side local shops where you can buy some souveniors or try out some local food.

Located right near the Gujo Hachiman castle and restaurants and bars are within a walking distance, so we
won't include dinner as you explore the street to find your dining experience.
Gujo Hachiman
Hotel Gujo Hachiman
A little apart from the town so dinner at the hotel is included in the package. Dinner is a Japanese Kaiseki
menu with unique gourmet local food. The benefit of staying at Hotel Gujo Hachiman is the Onsen!
There are indoor/outdoor Onsen and also sauna.
Day 4
Walk the castle town
Today you walk the beautiful castle town with an English speaking guide.
The town walk tour includes a visit to Gujo Hachiman castle,
Gujo Hachiman Hakurankan where you can see the famous Gujo Bon festival dance,
walk along the water lanes & Sample Village Iwasaki where you can enjoy making food replicas.
After the town walk, you travel from Gujo Hachiman to Nagoya
Optional: You can add one more night at Gujo Hachiman and have a day skiing / snowbaording in Meiho.
