Shirakaba Resort Ikenotaira Hotel is located next to Shirakaba-ko Lake. The Deluxe Lake View rooms in the Shin Honkan main building are overlooking the beautiful lake. Althoguh the lake is frozen in winter.
Resort Food Hall "Fuyu no Kaze"is an all day dining restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast and dinner are a buffet style and have variety of food selections with different sections such as ethnic & spice, Chinese, Staek, seafood, noodles, local food, Sushi, Teppan dining, sarad bar, sweets & bakery. There is even a little buffet section for young children.
There is indoor and outdoor Onsen as well as sauna. On your way to the Onsen, there is an in-hotel Onsen village "Shirakaba Nakamise" which is a sourvenior shop combined with a bar that serves local Sake, beer wine and a little local snack.

The closest Shinkansen station is JR Sakudaira. It is about 60 minutes from Sakudaira to Ikenotaira Hotel. The htoel runs the scheduled shuttle once a day to/from JR Sakudaira station. They also run the shuttle bus from Haneda airport to the hotel every Sunday.
