Airports: Nagano Snow Shuttles counter located in Terminal 3 at Haneda Airport or Terminal 2 at Narita Airport.
Hakuba: Hakuba Base Camp
Nozawa Onsen: Chuo Terminal
Shiga Kogen: Bus stop. We will advise the closest bus stop.
Madarao Kogen: Hotel Tangram or Madarao Kogen Hotel
Myoko Kogen: Akakura Bus Stop
Lotte Arai Resort: Hotel entrance
Change fee for shuttle bus
Change 8 days or more before travel – free of charge
Change 4 – 7 days before travel – 2,000 yen per seat
Change 3 days or less before travel – Not able to change
Please note that there is no refund on fare difference.
And if the booking is cancelled, then the date of the original booking is used to calculate the cancellation fee.
Note that cancellations received after 23:59 Japan Standard Time are deemed to be received the following day.

Cancellation fees for shuttle bus
46 days or more before date of travel: 10% of total fare
21 – 45 days before date of travel: 20% of total fare
8 – 20 days before date of travel: 50% of total fare
7 days or less before date of travel: 100% of total fare
If it is more than 7 days in advance, please contact us at Japan Snow Accommodation. If it is less than 7 days but more than 3 days then please contact us directly. Note that a change fee of 2,000 yen per seat will be charged for all changes made less than 7 days in advance.
Bookings cannot be changed 3 days before departure.
Cancellation fees for Private Charter
Cancellation more than 45 days before check in/travel: Loss of deposit (25% of total)
Cancellation 45 days or less before check in/travel: 100% (no refund)
Note that cancellations received after 16:00 Japan Standard Time are deemed to be received the following day.
Flight Connections
Flight Arrivals (Narita Airport). Please allow a minimum of 60 minutes if arriving at terminal 2, or 85 minutes if arriving at terminal 1 or 3
Flight Arrivals (Haneda Airport) Please allow a minimum of 60 minutes if arriving at the International Terminal, or 75 minutes if arriving at terminal 1 or 2
International Flight Departures (all airports). Please allow 120 minutes between bus arrival and flight departure.
Flight delays
Shuttle bus
The decision on whether to wait for a delayed flight is at the sole discretion of JHN Travel
Passengers who miss their bus connection due to flight have 2 options.
- Travel free of charge on a standby basis on the next available shuttle. If passengers choose this option, then they will not be guaranteed a seat until check in closes, immediately prior to bus departure. Full fare paying passengers have priority over standby passengers.
- Purchase a new ticket (guaranteeing a seat).
No refunds will be given for passengers who miss their connections due to flight delays. Compensation must be claimed from the airline that causes the delay. Nagano Snow Shuttle will provide, on request, a letter stating that the passenger did not take the shuttle is reserved.
Private charter
If you have booked a private charter and your flight is delayed before take off you must inform Japan Snow Accommodation or Nagano Snow Shuttles. Any delays longer than 2 hours may result in your charter being cancelled.
Luggage allowance
2 large items per traveller and one small carry bag.
Traffic and Weather Delays
While all effort is made to operate services on time, JHN Travel Ltd accepts no liability for delays or missed connections due to causes outside of the control of JHN Travel Ltd. This includes, but is not limited to traffic delays and adverse weather conditions.
