Thanks so much for all your help and suggestions. Everything went so smoothly and looked beautiful on our trip.

First of all, the Rusutsu has plenty of dry powder (AKA Japow). The new Onsen Kotobuki at the North Wing is great. It has the outdoor bath and the cave bath.
However, the dinner coupon could be used at all restaurants in the hotel before pandemic, but now it is only allowed to be used at Oktoberfest. And they have raised lunch prices a lot. Overall, it is a great resort.

Mid Jan 2019

It snowed 8 out of 9 days. There were probably 4x days where the powder was knee deep

I have been here 3x times. the hotel is great, rooms are clean… locker rooms for your snow gear are exceptional.

The service is excellent, the staff are very accommodating and helpful.

Mid January 2019

We had the best time. Rusutsu was set up so well as a very comfortable ski-in ski-out facility. To be able to check in and have you ski passes handed to you and therefore be out for first tracks the following day was such a bonus. The snow was fantastic, with 2 bluebird days and 3 days of powder. The mountain itself was so well set up for off piste boarding that you never had to hike out of a powder run. And because there is so much off piste skiing, we could find fresh tracks throughout the whole day. We also found some great restaurants and little bars behind the hotel to eat and drink in the evenings.

Your service was fantastic. Traveling on the buses was really easy and stress free (both companies were great), and your recommendations for accommodation were perfect. Your responses to any questions were prompt and helpful. I intend on using you guys next time we go skiing in Japan.

Thanks again for all your help and I will be in touch in the future.

Kind regards,
Lachy

Early Feb 2018

Got back yesterday and just want to tell you that our accommodation(s) was excellent. Thankyou for everything.

Rusutsu room was big and comfortable. Skiing at Rusutsu is much better with lots of off-piste. Luckily, we had 2 drops of over 40 cms.

Thanks once again,
Tom Newton

Rusutsu is about 2 hour by ski bus from New Chitose Airport.

Rusutsu offers great off-piste and tree skiing and snowboarding. It is a great resort for powder skiers and snowboarders but also perfect for families. The hotels are ski in ski out and there are English ski and snowboard school and fun snow activities.

Rusutsu is located in Hokkaido. The best & easiest way would be to fly into Sapporo (New Chitose Airport) and catch the ski bus which takes only 2 hours. The hotels run the Big Runs airport transfer bus and also free shuttle to Sapporo city, which we can arrange for you. There is also some other ski bus company.
