Sahoro Resort Hotel was fantastic.

The rooms were spacious and had a sofa and small table and chairs. There was hanging space in a small entrance way and hooks for hanging coats etc.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, although not a lot of English spoken.

The French restaurant was delicious and breakfast each day had a wide variety of food to select from.

The drying room and ski lockers were very convenient and there were attendants, one who spoke excellent English, always on hand to assist.

The indoor onsen, outdoor rotemburo, sauna and cold plunge pool were fabulous.

Skiing at the resort was very good but if you are after black runs, they don’t open up the area of the mountain with black runs until they have a good snow cover, usually  in Mid February.
In saying that, there is still plenty of runs , with some black runs throughout the rest of the resort.
There is a shuttle bus that will take you up to the main gondola station or you can walk across the road and catch a chairlift up to the main ski area.

There is a free shuttle bus from Shintoku station to transport you to and from the resort. We also used the shuttle to pop into town for a few things.

I would definitely stay at this resort again and highly recommend it.

Once again, thank you for everything you do for us.

You make our holidays so enjoyable.

Cheers,
Sharon

Late December 2017

One word needed Hisae about our stay.

EXCELLENT

Staff, facilities, food, etc... ALL EXCELLENT!

The only downside to our stay was that we lost 2 days of our ski passes (3 people) because of Bad weather. There should be a better way to manage this as the 2 Beginner lifts were open but the rest of the mountain was closed, not a good result for experienced skiers like ourselves who travelled a long way. Thank you
