Petit Hotel Shitaka is a ski in & ski out hotel at Happo One located next to the olympic ski jump course. The location is as good as it gets, even allowing you to ski out of the entrance down to the gondola and back into the entrance of the hotel from the slope. All rooms include an ensuite, bathroom, tv, air conditioning and yukata (japanese style robe). The hotel is owned by a Japanese family that take pride in their hospitality, food and location.

All these resorts are within range, so you are spoilt for choice. It does attract the second most amount of western visitors behind Niseko, so it is well set up to accommodate westerners. Along with Niseko it is often chosen as the first or second trip to Japan before you will look at some of the lesser known or more adventurous options.
The most common way to travel to Hakuba valley is to fly into Tokyo, catch a direct shuttle bus or combination of bus and shinkansen. We can advise or help you book all transfers.
