The name of the hotel is pretty similar to the one near the ropeway station but the Hakkoda Hotel which we just listed is located 6.5 km off the mountain and it is surrounded by the beautiful Hakkoda forest. There is the Sukayu Onsen which is internationaly well known nearby. Hakkoda Hotel is a high class hotel where you will receive a luxury experience. You also receive complimentary use of the Sukayu Onsen. What's unique about the Sukayu Onsen is its mixed bathing of men and women. “Sennin bath” means that it is big enough to occupy one thousand people. People of all ages enjoy its effects by hot spring. As an exception, from 8am to 9pm and from 8pm to 9pm, the bath becomes available only for women. There are smaller bathes which are available for men and women separately. But, if you are not shy...why not?
