Manza Onsen is a classic Japanese snow resort.

This onsen resort is one of the highest onsen resorts in Japan as it is located at 1,760 meters above sea level. For this reason, the view from the open-air bath is outstanding. A feature of this onsen is the color of milky white. Renowned as a symbol of Manza Onsen, "Karabuki" jets volcanic gas containing steam from between the rocks.

Due to the high altitude of 1,994 meters, Manza Onsen Ski Resort offers the lightest and driest powder snow in Japan's Northern Alps. The trails are mostly designed with beginner and intermediate skiers, but there are a number of fun features including a mini terrain park and a few non-groomed runs.
