Staffs are friendly, however some of them speak limited English.
The buffet breakfast really nice. A lot of varieties when compared with Shiga Kogen Prince. A lot of restaurants inside the hotel.
However, have to make booking in the restaurant. On the arrival day, it was really confusing. Some of the restaurants were full. Eventually made a booking. First buffet breakfast a long queue to get into the restaurant as well as to get food.
The hotel shuttle bus mainly for guests check in and check out. If you want to go to train station, have to take the bus.
Room with slope view can enjoy the firework in room which is excellent.

Overall it was a pleasant stay in Naeba Prince and will re-visit in the future.

Our stay at the Naeba Prince Hotel was lovely, being able to get our skis from the locker and then walk straight out to the lift was a bonus. We also loved the fact that you could walk to any of the 4 hotels via the indoor corridor. There was also plenty of variety of food options.

Mid Feb 2024

We stayed with our big family and found the accommodation to be perfect for all the families in our group

Breakfast was really well catered for and a bonus in our package deal and everyone enjoyed it.

The only down fall for us all was the food court closes too early. We misses out on many nights if we were to stay out on the slopes a bit  later in the afternoon. We were also disappointed we were unable to take the whole family on the drangondola to kagura like we had done in our previous vacation in 2020

All things considered we had an amazing experience and its so easy with the amount of children we had with is 9 children to be exact  We would highly recommend people staying here with the ski in out option .

Thanking you

Naeba & Kagura resorts were two contrasting styles. Naeba is very big and busy with a lot of beginners skiers, but the intermediate and advanced runs are quiet and the lift system is excellent. Naeba Prince Hotel Itself is huge, but with that comes all the convenience. Kagura is only one gondala ride away and we went there everyday. The view over over is amazing! We loved the peaceful nature of Kagura comared with Naeba. It has a lot of intermediate runs with some amazing back country that is opened up by a specific lift. Between Naeba and Kagura there was a lot of choice.

The room at Naeba prince hotel was a little dated, but a good size with a nice sized 2 seater sofa. I loved sitting down in the sofa by the window watching the night skiing and deciding where we would eat. I think the whole accommodation, breakfast and lift ticket package was excellent value!

I had a wonderful time during my trip to Japan, and I appreciate all your assistance and responses to my inquiries along the way. I hope you can assist us again next year. Our planned destination is Furano in Hokkaido. If you have any relevant information, please provide it for me and my friends to reference.

Firstly, Naeba Prince Resort. Its location was ideal, allowing me to easily enjoy skiing and explore the surrounding areas. The resort facilities were excellent, both in terms of skiing equipment and leisure amenities, which left me very satisfied.

As for the accommodation, we might opt for a family room next time, as two adults and a child felt a bit cramped. However, the amenities within the room were up to the standards of a hot spring resort.

Lastly, the hotel staff were all very friendly, contributing to a very enjoyable trip for us. My friends are already looking forward to my new trip next year, and we'll certainly be needing your assistance then too.

We enjoyed our stay at Naeba Prince Hotel. It was our first experience at a Prince hotel and it met our expectations.

The location is outstanding, the rooms are spacious, service was outstanding, transfers to/from train station easy and the ski tuning some of the best I have experienced anywhere in the world.
This is a big busy hotel but the food was good and the onsens were small but awesome.
The skiing was good and the Dragondola adds another dimension providing easy access to a lot of outstanding terrain.
Thanks again to JSA for your outstanding service in facilitating our ski holiday in Naeba. We look forward to booking our next Japan ski holiday with JSA. Thanks so much Hisae

Naeba Prince Hotel is a very convinence location for ski. The travel time is acceptable from Tokyo. The facilities is just great , ski locker was provided so that we don't need to carry the equipment back to hotel.  Restaurants are great, many kinds of food can choose. I will highly recommend for those family who want true ski in ski out resort.

Thanks for your arrangement , I have a great time for this trip.

We were a group of 4 families comprising 15 people, staying at Naeba Prince hotel during 4th – 9th January, 2017. We were glad that we booked the rooms with Japan Snow Accommodation early since we checked later there had no room available for the period we stayed. We had a great time over there. The snow even could not be compared to that in Hokkaido however was considered good. The greatest thing above all was it was very convenient. Ski lockers were just at the ground floor of our hotel rooms and one of ski lifts was very very close just next to the hotel door. We will definitely go there again.

Best wishes,
Anchalee

We love the hotel room and facilities. There are so many restaurants to choice. The slope and gondola is just next to the hotel (building 2). Just like ski in ski out. Kids playground is not far and fun for kids. The coupon system is good. We can use with many restaurants. However there is just one point l donot like. The Onsen is too small. We had a good time there and will seek a chance to go back.

Mid December 2015

We were really disappointed with the snow condition when we were at Naeba in December, 2015. Greatest disappointment was that the Dragondola was not operating during our stay and most of the run at Naeba were closed due to lack of snow. If we have not paid for the accommodation, we would probably go to other ski resort. Except for the snow condition, the other aspect are all up to our expectation, especially your service.

Kinta Naeba Hotel guest reviews

9th February 2023

I’m so glad to provide feedback about the Kinta. It was the best place we stayed in , in our three weeks skiing in Japan,  and was wonderful.

It was wonderful because the owners really care about their guests and did everything they possibly could to make our stay the best it could be and it was.

The breakfasts and dinners were lovely, not traditional Japanese which we do really enjoy, but they were delicious. Kinta’s recommendations for the best places to eat in Naeba were excellent, and our rooms were comfortable and pleasant. Much nicer than staying in the Prince Hotel !

I would unreservedly recommend the Kinta, thank you so much for bringing it to our attention

Early January 2019

Naeba was quite a surprise with some great lift-accessed intermediate to advanced skiing and powder options, and the rambling Kagura area a gondola ride away.

The Kinta is a quirky piece of post-modern Japanese architecture chock full of wonderful art collected by the owner. We stayed in the tower which was a delight – warm, clean and tidy with a good gear drying room at the door. Breakfasts at The Kinta were western style and beautifully made.

The closest ski lift is only a 5 minute walk away and the town is an easily-accessible 10 minute stroll at night to find ten or so dining options. We caught the local bus from Echigo Yuzawa station (around Y630 ea way) and the owner picked us up from the bus stop – too easy.

Kinta is amazing. We have been twice and both types were fantastic. Great snow, lodge is easy walk to slopes, room is spacious with views, spotless and beautifully furnished. Owners are delightful and do everything they can to help you and make you feel at home. The food they serve up is sensational -4 course meals which were delicious. Lovely indoor/ outdoor onsen overlooking the slopes. This is a high quality lodge and is a very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone and both times we went we were so impressed with everything. Loved it!

6th February 2014

My friends and I have just returned from our Japanese ski holiday and I just wanted to let you know that we had an amazing time and also wanted to thank you for all the organisation you did for us before hand. Our stays at all of the lodges were fantastic. We were overly impressed by the hospitality, the accommodation and helpfulness of Kinta san at Kinta Naeba and the food they cooked for the evening meals was also amazing. Thanks again for everything you did to help us have a relaxing holiday.
