Where to stay
Furano has a village called Kitanomine with restaurants & shops and most of the accommodation is located in this area.

As on previous occasions everything was wonderful during our stay in Furano.

From the very beginning when we arrived at our designated bus stop area in Furano, our lovely host Koitchi was there waiting for us to take us to our accommodation.  He was so helpful that he even picked us up later that evening and drove us to the local supermarket for some groceries. He was so patient waiting for us while we shopped for some supplies.

The house is perfectly set up with two sitting areas and kitchens which suited our group perfectly.The house is also within walking distance to the Kitanomine Gondola each day. 

There is a lovely coffee house which sells delicious sweets a few doors down the street. We have stayed at Lodge 10 on previous trips and will continue to book this house anytime we visit Furano.

Booking the house through Japan Snow Accommodation was easy and everything ran smoothly. Thank you to all parties involved for making our stay so enjoyable!

I had to email and tell you what an amazing trip to Furano we've had. Your service and advice and assistance in preparing this trip was outstanding and I'm telling everyone I know about you.

 

The accommodation was superb and please pass onto to the owners that their place is wonderfully equipped, beautiful and more than comfortable for a group or in our case, extended family. We couldn't believe how lucky we were to have a place where we could relax and socialise, cook and have a few drinks with happy kids and happy grandparents all together. You would never get that at a hotel.

 

It is being well maintained by Tatsumi and he was more than helpful when we arrived with explanations, Japanese plugs and a trip into town for groceries. He was very diligent with clearing the steps and path each day of snow and daily rubbish removal.

 

We rented out gear from the shop in the kitanomine gondola building. They were fantastic and the gear was great. They let us keep all the gear there overnight and keep our walking shoes there during the day which made the walk back to the lodge easy. I would recommend them.

 

Also the ski school run from the same shop were brilliant with the kids. The free mountain host service booked thru the tourist info office in gondola building is an absolute must and our host was terrific and her guidance around the mountains on the first day gave us the knowledge and confidence to use the entire resort for all standard of skiers and boarders in or family. I could go on and mention how fabulously friendly and helpful and lovely the Japanese people are but you'd know that! Also the food!

 

Anyway, once again thanks and I will continue to recommend you to others. We will definitely be going back and look forward to dealing with you again,

From the moment I contacted Japan Snow Accommodation about organising our trip to Japan I received nothing but 5 star quality customer service.

 

Our land transfers to and from Furano were organised meticulously. Once arriving in Furano we were greeted by proficient and helpful staff who ushered us directly to our accommodation. The Furano 10 Lodge exceeded our 5 star expectations.

 

The bedrooms are spacious and the living areas (2 of them) more than happily accommodated our group of 8 people.

 

Access to the Kitanomine Gondola (main lift) took a comfortable 10 minute walk from the property.

 

We all thoroughly enjoyed the seamless experience that Hisae and the staff at Japan Snow Accommodation provided for us. I will definitely be asking the team at Japan Snow Accommodation to organise our next trip”.

The Lodge 10 accommodation was great, everything in the house worked great, was clean and super nice.

 

Furano was great for snowboarding, no lift lines, great snow and good facilities on the hill. It was definitely the best snow I have ever ridden.

 

In the house I might suggest that you have washing machine instructions in English and maybe a coffee machine? But otherwise everything was great."

Furano Lodge 10 was Fantastic. Such a beautiful view from the Lodge. The Modern well maintained House was very clean, Large, warm, with all modern fittings. The Lodge manager was terrific. only a short 5 min walk from the ski runs. And Furano had amazing snow fall. I will be returning to this holiday spot.

Furano lodge 10 is a fantastic modern western style accommodation that is perfect for a group or family. Close enough to the lifts but far away enough that you have your own private piece of paradise. The lodge manager is fantastic and is only too happy to provide assistance where needed. I can't wait to stay there again.
