Hakuba Goryu Snow Report 27/12/09

Most of the snow resorts in Japan have had a great start to the season this year. Last year, they were still waiting for a dump of snow at this time of the year, but now Hakuba Goryu has 180cm snow already.

Alps 360 (restaurant, cafe, shop, rest room) is located 1,500 metre high and it is right next to the gondola station.

Sunrise start - Hakuba Goryu Sky Four Chairlift opens at 6:30 between Dec 26th and Jan 3rd, and every weekend (Sat & Sun) (9/1 - 28/3). This would be a great oppotunity to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and the fresh snow!

Zipline Adventure - Madarao Kogen

Madarao Kogen is the very first snow resort that introduced the Zipline Adventure in Japan. You will be going down above all the skiers and boarders. It is 100 % sure that you get all the attention!! Who wants to stand out at the resort?

Shun's new season has just started - Asahidake

Our local snowboarder Shun has sent us some photos. His new season has already started in Asahidake. His last day was not long ago. It was July and he sent us the photo of him snowboarding in his boardshorts. What a long season he has got. Lucky Shun!!!

Asahidake is famous for backcountry and the amazing powder snow. Can't wait to see more snow...
